Alexandra is a professional actor, writer and drag artist, represented by Victoria Steven Management. She has a Masters in Acting from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts and a BA (Hons) in English Literature from the University of Warwick. A skilled character actor with a flare for comedy, Alexandra has experience working with classical texts, devising new work, and screen acting. Her recent acting work includes Apricity Theatre's The Breach at the Rondo Theatre, Alma Tavern and Cotswold Playhouse, and Definitely Louise at the Warren, Brighton and the Rose Theatre, Edinburgh.
Alexandra's writing for stage has been selected for numerous new writing and scratch performances. Her comedy monologue Saint Jude performed at the Other Room, Cardiff and the Drayton Arms in early 2020.
Over the first 2020 lockdown, Alexandra was commissioned to create an original audio drama as part of Wassail Theatre's Connecting Communities project. Gallivanting Goblins is a family friendly tale that explores the history and folklore of the Somerset town of Frome, encouraging its audience to getting in touch with the natural world around them. It is available to listen for free as a podcast via Spotify and Anchor FM.
Alexandra is currently developing her drag act, His Terectomy, via the digital mediums of Tik Tok and Instagram, with the hope of producing live performance routines when COVID restrictions allow.
As well as creating and performing her own work, Alexandra writes as a critic of theatre, film and television for the reviewing platform Within Her Words and her own self managed blog Confessions Of A Five Foot Two Actress.
Alexandra will be debuting her drag act, His Terecomy, as part of the Blue Glass Theatre's week of comedy, Hope Box, at the Hope Theatre in London. His will be performing on Saturday, July 3rd from 9pm, along with comedians Katie McLeod and Sikisa.
